Last month I took part in an English Competition in District 5. The competition was about telling stories in English. It was held/ organized by the Education Department of Ho Chi Minh City.
There were 15 representatives from chosen schools participating the competition. The contestant from Nguyen Tat Thanh High School won the contest and got a nice prize with English books.
I was sorry that I wasn't successful, but I enjoyed it very much because it was a good time for me to practise my English speaking.

When I was a child I dream I’ll be a famous film star in the future but growing I find I don’t have talent in actiong so I’m no longer thinking about it. Surprisingly, last week my class organized a drama competition and every member in class ought to take part in. Many kind of drama is acted such as mime, comedy,… The competition occurred in a stunning stage and more than 300 audiences watches our show. There are 10 teams join with 10 plays. My team is the second. Our play called “Tam Cam” but it not a fairy tales likes everyone knew because we had changed in toward a model story and along with many humorous scenarios. I am playing one of three leading roles in our play. My character named Cam. It’s the villain. Before acting I am afraid I can’t do well because I feel ashamed of standing before a crowd. Luckily, my friends found that, they encouraged me by sang together a song called: “believe in winning”. Looking at their eyes, I applauded thunderously, they love our play and they thought it great. After the competition, the juries announced the results. We are the champion, I can’t imagine about this, ever our team’s member extremely happy. This is the first and also the memorable competition in my life.
